Fraud is the fastest growing crime in Canada, and it’s difficult to stay on top of the latest scams and schemes that are rampant online and in your community. The fraudsters are quick and clever, tempting you with tricks online, on your phone, in your mailbox and at your door.  Knowing which businesses to trust and where you can turn when you encounter a problem can be frustrating. Sadly, the scammers love to target seniors. Former Global TV Trouble Shooter turned Consumer protection expert, Julie Matthews shares personal stories along with tips and tricks to help you protect yourself, your friends and family. Know what to watch for, be a scam savvy consumer!

Telford Community Club was incorporated in 1957 and calls home to the old Telford School SD1355 site.  Our Community Hall was built with volunteer labor in 1982.  A new playground was built by community members in the summer of 2019.  The hall is operated by a volunteer board of directors who host community events as well as rent the hall out for private functions.

To join our club please email or call one of the members listed on the contact tab.  Membership is $5/family per year.
